Highlights

Carbide Drilling

The advanced drilling unit integrated into the 3 ADM ECO with three high speed 22kW spindle motors offers an exceptional solution for rapid carbide drilling. Carbide drills stand out by delivering an unparalleled combination of high precision, making them the preferred choice for demanding applications. The ability of the 3 ADM ECO to meet this need not only boosts efficiency, but also promotes durability in various drilling situations.

Marking

The marking unit provides the possibility of marking material on 3 surfaces at the same time, with the results remaining clear even after painting or blasting processes.

ATC- Automatic Tool Changer

The 3 ADM ECO comes with three automatic tool changers; one for each spindle, each containing four tool stations. The automatic tool changer allows for rapid, automatic tool changes, eliminating the need for human intervention and reducing the machine’s idle time.

Feeding Arm

The feeding arm is designed to accurately position profiles by using an advanced gear system with high accuracy. This enables more efficient processing with minimal material wastage compared to traditional roller systems.

Bendsaw Integration

The 3 ADM ECO features built-in band saw technology, enabling automated cutting of materials at various angles with great accuracy. It can perform cuts at specific lengths and make miter cuts ranging from -45° to +60° degrees.

Material Clamping System

The 3 ADM ECO is equipped with a sophisticated profile-fixing feature, utilizing adjustable hydraulic jaws for clamping. These jaws offer lateral adjustment capabilities to accommodate varying profile sizes, ensuring a secure fit at all 16 points. Eliminate vibrations produced during drilling processes.

Automatic Tool and Material Measurement

Material length, width and height are measured automatically by independent measurement systems provided on the machine. An operator sets the material type with dimensions in the program so that the software determines as to how many points the measurement of material height will be performed.

Transfer Tables

Transfer tables are integrated into the infeed and outfeed systems to ensure that materials are carried to the conveyors to remove the processed material from the working area safely. This eliminates the need for crane operations and enhances the work-flow safety and continuity of production.

Software

The 3 ADM ECO uses Lantek software to facilitate the automation. 3D nesting software and 3D CAD/CAM design facilitate the processing of standard profiles, maximizing material utilization. The Lantek software also optimizes the CNC code with collision avoidance technology as well as safe and efficient cutting operations on a wide range of machinery such as drilling, tapping marking and etc.

A 7-axis or 10-axis Drill Line?

Both 7-axis and 10-axis systems offer significant advantages, but the choice between them largely depends on the specific requirements of the project. A 7-axis system such as the 3 ADM ECO drill line is often sufficient for tasks needing a high degree of precision but not necessarily requiring the extensive range of motion offered by a 10-axis system. On the other hand, industries or projects that demand maximum flexibility and capability might benefit from investing in a 10-axis drill line such as the 3 ADM or 3 ADM VENERA.
A 7-axis drill line offers a higher level of precision and flexibility compared to more basic models. It allows for intricate movements and can handle complex tasks that require working on different sides of a workpiece. This makes it ideal for projects that need detailed attention and multiple drilling angles without the need for repositioning.
In contrast, a 10-axis drill line takes versatility and precision to another level. With additional axes, it can perform even more complex operations and manipulate the workpiece in a broader range of directions. This means it can execute tasks that are beyond the scope of a 7-axis system, allowing for even greater efficiency and reduced setup times in intricate manufacturing processes.
