Yılteks Energy, operating under Yılteks Group, specializes in the manufacturing of pressure vessels and LPG tanks. With 15 years of industry experience, the company operates across 70,000 m² of open area and approximately 38,000 m² of enclosed production space, processing approximately 6,000 tons of steel raw material. Today, Yılteks Energy exports its products to approximately 85 countries. As the company continues to expand its production capabilities and product range, it integrates Akyapak technologies across various stages of its manufacturing processes.

Before the Collaboration

As Yılteks Energy’s production capacity continued to grow, its key priorities were to bring more manufacturing processes in-house, reduce dependence on external suppliers, shorten lead times, and gain greater control over quality. In particular, bringing the previously outsourced dished head production in-house, reducing manual labor and crane dependency in welding and assembly operations, and improving the efficiency of various manufacturing processes became key areas of investment. Yılteks Energy and Akyapak began their journey together in 2014.

Advantages Provided by Akyapak Machines:

The collaboration with Akyapak, which began in 2014 with an investment in plate rolling machines, gradually expanded across different manufacturing processes in line with Yılteks Energy’s evolving production needs. From bringing dished head production in-house to welding automation, and from fit-up systems to bevel plasma cutting, the solutions implemented have helped increase the level of automation, reduce labor requirements, and enable greater control over manufacturing processes. The column & boom and fit-up investments implemented across four of Yılteks Energy’s six production lines went beyond standard machine supply, evolving into custom-designed engineering projects jointly developed by Yılteks Energy and Akyapak.

Less Labor, Higher Efficiency

In automated welding operations performed with column & boom systems, a process that would traditionally require approximately 10 workers can now be managed by a single operator. This setup enables higher production efficiency with fewer personnel while also contributing to shorter production times.

Crane-Free and Automated Assembly

Thanks to the fit-up systems, the cylindrical shell sections of LPG tanks can be assembled without the need for crane usage or extensive manual intervention. The automated assembly process provides Yılteks Energy with significant advantages in terms of labor, time, and production costs.

Greater Production Independence and Quality Control

Dished head production, which was previously outsourced, was brought in-house through Yılteks Energy’s investment in Akyapak dishing presses and flanging machines. As a result, the company reduced its dependence on external suppliers while gaining greater control over lead times and production quality.

Custom Engineering for Production Needs

The collaboration between Yılteks Energy and Akyapak has extended beyond standard machinery investments. Throughout R&D activities and new product development processes, the two companies have jointly developed custom-designed engineering solutions tailored to Yılteks Energy’s specific production needs, ranging from welding automation and flanging technologies to pipe bending solutions.
