Challenges

Key issues before working with Akyapak:

Before partnering with Akyapak, the main challenge was the inability to perform long bending operations in a single piece. The existing machines were insufficient for producing cylinders over 10 meters in length, which forced projects to be divided into multiple sections and joined by welding. This not only increased labor costs but also extended production times. Moreover, welded joints created risks in terms of quality and durability, preventing products from being manufactured as a reliable single piece.

Advantages of Akyapak Machines:

Akyapak provided a definitive solution to the customer’s long bending requirements through a specially developed machine from our R&D team. With the 10.5-meter capacity plate bending machine and complementary products, the production line was restructured. As a result, the customer eliminated previous limitations and successfully transitioned to mass production.

The CNC-controlled structure of the machine significantly accelerated mass production processes. Operators were able to learn and operate the system efficiently in a very short time.
