Sumbul Celik Redefined Its Production Speed and Precision with Akyapak

Company Overview

Sumbul Celik is an engineering company specialized in steel construction for industrial facilities. Founded in 2015 by Semih Sumbul, the company delivers high-quality steel structures—excluding reinforced concrete and stands out as a trusted partner for energy, industrial, and manufacturing plants.

Before the Collaboration

“For many years, we worked with European machines in our investment decisions. However, the difficulties we experienced in service and communication pushed us to choose a local solution. We already knew Akyapak. Our first machine was purchased in 2016, and in 2022, we added three more machines to our investments.”

Akyapak’s Solution

Advantages of Akyapak Machines:

Akyapak’s integrated system—combining the 3 ADM beam drilling line, AST miter bandsaw, and AFD 10 plate drilling machine—eliminated all bottlenecks previously faced in production. Drilling and cutting operations became fully automated, removing the need for manual labor and delivering cleaner, smoother, and error-free results.

Ease of Use

Transitioning from manual drilling to fully automated operations not only shortened the learning curve but also created significant convenience in daily workflow. With the 3 ADM, operators can effortlessly process 150–200 tons of material per month, greatly enhancing production performance.

Reliability

Regardless of the task, the machines’ reliable performance maintained continuous workflow, while quick after-sales support prevented potential downtime. This structure brought a high level of reliability to the production line.

Precision

The 3 ADM’s independent movement across three axes enabled millimetric precision in drilling operations. Manual error margins were fully eliminated, and every hole was produced with consistent accuracy and surface quality. This level of precision significantly elevated quality standards in steel construction components.

Speed & Efficiency

With cutting times reduced by half, drilling operations accelerated, and crane dependency lowered by 90 percent, production capacity increased significantly. The continuous flow enabled by automation shortened delivery times and maximized overall efficiency. The ability to process larger and stronger materials expanded the production range and strengthened competitive advantage.
