Akyapak Expands To Teknosab

BURSA, TURKEY (Jan. 11, 2024) – Levent Akyapak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akyapak Makine, a globally recognized company with robust growth, announced today the company's intention to expand by establishing a new facility at the Bursa Technology Organised Industrial Zone (TEKNOSAB).

“Our expansion plan includes building a technology base in TEKNOSAB where we will enhance our focus on software and introduce innovative contributions to the sector,” said Akyapak.

Akyapak prides itself on its unique ability to develop their own machinery without the need for imports. This sets the company apart from its competition, bolstering its reputation for technological transformation, new product design, user interface development, innovation, research, and software creation.

“Being a completely domestic producer – from the smallest parts to design, integration, and software – puts us in a position of strength,” affirmed Akyapak. “Our commitment to innovation contributes not only to our own development but also brings significant benefits to our country.”

In his announcement, Akyapak further clarified the company’s dedication to tackling bespoke orders, each of which represents a new product. He believes an innovation culture is key to project-type production, and fulfilling such requests necessitates a unique level of commitment and investment.

“With the help of our dedicated R&D Centre, we've achieved a commendable record of innovation, holding 20 patents and 8 registered designs to date”, stated Akyapak. “We are also proud to have 16 R&D projects supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), emphasizing our commitment to deliver on integration in manufacturing to meet our customer expectations.”

Akyapak has proven its global standard in major projects such as the Osmangazi Bridge, the Dubai Eye, the Turk Telekom Arena (Nef Stadium), the High-Speed Train Project, Istanbul's 3rd Airport, and the Baku-Ceyhan Pipeline. World-class projects such as these testify to the outstanding quality of their work and positions Akyapak at the forefront of technological advancements that shape the future of the manufacturing industry.
